Semi-budget control deck. A work in progress. I could use some help, as I'm not very familiar with Standard right now.
The idea is to disrupt your opponent until you can start beating them down with Scorpion God and Glorybringer (which can also continue to disrupt your opponent on their own). Your side of the board is for the most part kept clear until at least turn 5, so that you can make use of Bontu's Last Reckoning if necessary. Duress and Harsh Scrutiny make good turn 1 hand disruption, and you have plenty of kill spells plus some burn.I tried to make this deck decent against creature-heavy decks, but it has a clear weak spot against other control decks. All a control deck would need to do is counter a few creatures and suddenly this deck has nothing to do. For this reason, I'm thinking of using the entire sideboard to just make the deck more aggressive, so that it can potentially overwhelm control decks. I currently have a playset of both Dread Wanderer and Scrapheap Scrounger, since they can potentially come back from counterspells/removal.
