Control deck I made up. Creature control is mainly accomplished through the combination of Nightshade Peddler and Izzet Staticaster, and from surprise blocks from Skylasher, which be especially effective if you soulbond it to Peddler. It also has Searing Spear. Other spells can be countered by Negate, Plasm Capture, and Syncopate. Hidden Strings can tap and untap stuff; it is mainly used to untap Izzet Staticaster to hit more creatures. Elderscale Wurm is the finisher, and can be protected by Mizzium Skin and counterspells.

wasn't sure if you knew this, but elderscale wurm is 7 mana, and you have 6 guildgates in your deck...and what are the mizzium skins for?

What's your point exactly? And Mizzium Skin gives things hexproof of course.
I guess my point is that you could be using way better cards with a way better strategy, but if your point is to build a $20 deck, then I can't argue. the card choices are kind of odd and aside from peddler/staticaster, the synergy is kind of random
