Experimenting with rat tribal in Modern.
Inquisition is probably your best turn 1 play. Typhoid Rats isn't bad either, as it can trade with almost anything as a blocker. After turn 1, just start filling your board with as many rats as possible - mainly Rat Colonies, but Pack Rats can be very handy and don't die as easily.It is likely very important that your rats are able to get past blockers. Your Rat Colonies trade with Lingering Souls/Pyromaner tokens, which is the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever. So you can play Mogis's Marauder, which while isn't a rat, potentially allows for a 1-turn all-out unblockable swing. Marrow-Gnawer can get your rats through too, and its ability can potentially boost your other rats.The rest of the deck is just Night's whisper for hand refill, Push and Deadlands for a bit of removal, and Mutavault which both boosts your other rats and can have fear if you have Marrow-Gnawer out.Haven't worked out a sideboard yet.
