Deck Description

Basically, you put Holy Day or Dawn Charm on Isochron Scepter. You can do this turn 1 with Simian Spirit Guide. Then you eventually kill your opponent with either Luminarch Ascension or Stuffy Doll, or maybe Sun Titan.

Any suggestions before I buy?

How to Play

Dawn Charm and Holy Day are the two fog spells in the deck. The main idea is to put them on Isochron Scepter. Then, as long as their win con is creature based, you're practically invincible. To make sure they don't remove it, you have Faith's Shield and Apostle's Blessing.

While building this, I realized I would be giving my opponent enough time to cast something like Emrakul, which would easily destroy this deck. To try to stop this, I added Journey to Nowhere and Oblivion Ring. However, you would have to have eight or nine lands though so you can sacrifice the rest. O-Ring and Journey to Nowhere still effectively deal with pretty much everything though. And you can protect them with Faith's Shield.

The win con Luminarch Ascention is cheap and easily activated in this deck. It's vulnerable, but can be protected with Faith's Shield. The other win con, Stuffy Doll, is less easily removed and can be protected with Apostle's Blessing or Faith's Shield, but takes a while to kill you opponent, especially if they've gained life.

Decks with non-creature win cons, such as Burn and Storm, can be stopped with a sideboarded Leyline of Sanctity. Dawn Charm may also help with this. Artifact or enchantment based decks or decks with an artifact or enchantment win con could be stopped by Disenchant in a addition to the mainboarded Oblivion Rings. You also have Sun Titan as an additional win con and a way to return many cards to the battlefield, Silence as something to throw in if your fog spells aren't doing anything, and Rest in Peace for graveyard-based decks.
