Ajani vs. Nicol Bolas My favorite Duel Decks so far. I've been trying to perfects the Ajani deck for sooooooooooo long. I think I've managed to find a good ratio. I don't have many of the cards but hopefully I can make the deck I've put forth.

Loxodon hammer makes behemeth sledge obsolete. Also I'm not sure if this matters to you but wild nacatl is banned in modern. Also you could speed up the deck quite a bit if you dropped the refuges for lands that can come out untapped. (Rootbound Crag, Dragonskull Summit, the fast lands, shock lands...)

I'm not going to any tournaments. I'm a casual player. And the reason I have the Refugees because of the life gain. It's not much but it powers up my Ajani's Pridemates and Ageless Entities. And Behemoth Sledge isn't obsolete. Sure it only gives me 2 power but it also gives me 2 toughness.
