haha yea put some basics to protect from blood moon, and oh my bad i didnt see that requirement, it makes sense now. another suggestion would be composite golem, you could get a fusion elemental or two alara blades out with him when your havin mana troubles

gotta have some birds of paradise, lotus bloom, and maybe some of the alara triple lands, and vivid meadow (i think there are other lands like vivid meadows too). very good little creatures: scute mob, gravecrawler, soul cleric, cursecatcher, vexing devil, etc. I really like your use of the alara blades though. check out my deck if you get a chance http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=368223

I dont see the sense of having arid mesa and scalding tarn. also, i think dragonskull summit is better than blood crypt. i would have-8 mountain, 4 swamp, 4 dragonskull summit, 2 blood crypt if you want to stick with 18 land, i would go to 20. id appreciate it if you could check out my deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=368223
I would have mana leak, counterspell, undermine, or countersquall instead of deprive. you are going to have mana troubles. I would suggest adding more forest, and adding a fourth prismatic omen. with the extra forest you can replace some of your spells with utopia sprawl, sylvan scrying, ancient stirrings.

thats brilliant, and yea i do need to work in more mill, maybe hedron crab since it can also serve as an extra blocker... Im not sure if my opinion is very valuable, but id love to take a close look at your deck later tonight
