For Archive Trap, I recommend using Ghost Quarter to make your opponent search their library. Other than that, this is a great deck. I'd still run a few more mill though. Dream Twist, Thought Scour, Mind Sculpt, etc... If you could, I'd love to get some feedback on the deck I'm going to be taking to my first qualifier. The original concept was Mono black burn. thats brilliant, and yea i do need to work in more mill, maybe hedron crab since it can also serve as an extra blocker... Im not sure if my opinion is very valuable, but id love to take a close look at your deck later tonight
Ghost quarter's a nice card, but since it says "Destroy target land. Its controller may search his or her library for a basic land card, put it into play, then shuffle his or her library." that MAY is the problem over there, knowing you play mill your opponent can easily read your game and avoid searching his/her library. Nephalia drownyard is a possible option, has actually saved me a few times, although ability being wayyy to expensive. I run my mill with 4 Hedron Crabs for mill & 4 Fog banks for the protection. Thought scour, dream twists good options as mentioned above. you really dont need counterspells in a mill deck its a waste of a card. Add more Mill Or Add The Best Card You Dont Have Yet TWINCAST ! So you can Double your Spells Mill for 20 or till opponent hits 8 lands.
