Really like this. I also have a merfolk deck which runs 2 Jitte and and around 2 Standstills. Although that only give me 5 counter spells and 3 creature returns, but it really help a lot in my games. This kind of deck would always leave your hand almost empty around your 4th-5th turn because of it's speed. Standstill really helped a lot at those times. And Jitte, OH I LOVE JITTE! Is really good in board control and additional pumps. Might be good with the number of your colorless mana resources.

Very Nice deck. I would: -3 Leveler = +2 Phyrexian Dreadnought & +1 Eater of Days -3 Duress & -1 trickbind = +4 Stifle -1 Trickbind = 1 Diabolic Tutor -1 Ponder = +1 Brainstorm But Overall, this is already pretty solid. Good job Razka! Keep it up! Forgot to say, maybe more cards that destroys creatures? No Mercy is so good though. Because I already got 4 Aphetto Alchemist and 4 Worldly Tutor. That's pretty enough to pull off the combo ^^,
Yep, but I got 4 tutors for creatures. That's more than enough as a combo enabler. Thanks manofwar51!
The card actually costs a lot now, I bought this from a person who don't fully understand what it does. He really thought it was a trash card. I don't wanna' say how much I bought it, but he really sold it to me in a very CHEAP price >.<.
Yes. That's the whole point of the card. But to kinda' more clarify it, the effect that causes the 'morph' to be turned face-up is a replacement effect not a triggered ability. It was a 0/1 creature before but got errata'd into a 2/2 now.
Yea, there's actually a specific rule for that. "711.6. A double-faced permanent always has the status "face up" (see rule 110.6). Double-faced permanents can't be turned face down. If a spell or ability tries to turn a double-faced permanent face down, nothing happens."
YES! The card is not entering the battlefield, it is just turning face up. Any cards with abilities that trigger 'when this card is turned face up' will trigger though.
The mana cost for the creature has to be paid into X. If you want to put Hunted Horror down, [B][B] has to be part of the mana spent on X. For Emrakul, the same 15 generic mana. Thanks~
I really love Stifle and I almost turn this into a 3-colored deck because of that. But I ended up using B/W colors instead. 4 Illusionary Mask / 4 Torpor orb / 4 Enlightened tutor is enough for me. And I think using Hunted Horror / Nyxathid (instead of just 4 Leveler / 4 Eater of Days / 4 Phyrexian Dreadnought) would at least speed up the deck. But thanks for the advice! Ooops, didn't see the 8 dark rituals.
Already thought of that and combining it with Lhurgoyf, etc. But I think it would make the deck a little heavy and slow. Thanks~
@Aigloblam I almost have the same story as you. In my place, the players are not as witty when it comes to MTG, so I got to build some of their decks, help them do twitches, and when I'm in a match against them, there are times when I won't drop the key card I have in hand just to let them enjoy more and kinda' uplift their spirits if they pulled of the theme of their decks. Even if I lose, I always end up talking on how awesome they pulled out the trick for quite a long time. Really don't know but that made me happy in a way.
That's hard. But never worry, life always gets better (o^-')b I'll wear my smile for the whole day so that the world will better place for you and your family.
I didn't took a good read when I first saw the description but now I just realized how even more brilliant the deck was. I was thinking, did you survive some sort of a horrendous or terrible accident that made you put those Platinum Angels there? Anyways, Thanks and a good deck will always be better with a good player, just like yourself and what you had there.
I like the deck, but I need to agree with TribalH3adHunt3r, deck kinda' need some boost. Either Parallel lives or Beastmaster Ascension. Beastmaster is a little more fun for me though. Good job, Nice deck!
Thanks Planestalker. I pretty much prefer Living Wish more than any tutor spells for this deck. I feel that 3 cards for a combo is too much. It's always 2 or never for me. In order to make this deck more versatile more well-rounded, I decided to use Living Wish. Because if you check my Sideboard list, I got pretty much all the creature/land cards I need to stall or halt my opponent from having a good advantage against me. I use it essentially to tutor the combo pieces, but hey I can also tutor out Bojuka Bog/Macabre for grave-hate, Meddling Mage/Phyrexian Revoker for stalls, Stern Proctor/Qasali Pridemage for destroying Ench/Artifacts, or even Emrakul if I'm against a mill. I agree on you on Moat, but I'm quite contented with Story Circle for the meantime. But really, Thank you for the suggestions and thoughts, I'm sure that I will playtest such setups to find out which one is better. Thanks so much again Planestalker!
Feel free to do so. It's really fun, you should try it. THANKS~
That's pretty much the point there. Or Sacrifice it.
Already thought of that. But I ended up putting Ensnaring Bridge instead.
