Yep, that's why I use instant spells like magamaquake and comet storm. So that I could cast it while there's still floating mana provided by the Braids. And Figure of Destiny / Spikeshot elder to use the excess mana floated by the enchantment.
With multiple copies of artifacts that slows you and your opponent down, you're more susceptible to get hit by those. You should've have put in around 2 copies of desired artifact and rely on tutors instead. I still can't figure out why Winter Orb + Storage Matrix in play is not an issue for you though. It just seem that you slowed down yourself. You're gonna' have so much problems in decks like burn/aggro or even stompy. Just any decks that is a little straightforward. If they drop around 2 creatures, they can just let it attack per turn, they don't need mana anymore to cast any other spells. The hole is just too wide in this deck. I'm not trying to make your deck look bad, I'm just helping you to make it better. ^^,
Ooops, we got a little problem here. I think. You have Artifact Lands.. There's a Can't vs Can battle between Winder Orb and Storage Matrix Storage Matrix doesn't override any effects that prevent a permanent from untapping, like Winter Orb. Even if you choose to untap artifacts with storage matrix, your lands (which are artifacts too) will still untap one at a time. Can't (Winter Orb) always wins over can (Storage Matrix) And by the way, I think Dark Ritual would be somewhat handy with you here.
I wish this was Blue/Red instead. The Swan + Chain of Plasma makes you draw your whole library, by that you can simple cast something like Scent of Cinders or Conflagrate or maybe turbulent dreams or something else. But overall, your deck is pretty good already. Nice one demonking28! Proesperity + Echo Mage with Jace's Erasure would be fun. A little dangerous though. Howling min is also good. Jace's Phantasm is almost mandatory in every mill deck, it's really a good addition. But overall, nice deck Dirtyd187! Good job~
