Deck discussion for Epiclesis™

you have 5 godless shrines got cut one down you could run isolated chapel since you'll have a plains or swamp on feild most of the time
Promise of bunrei is a intresting card i want to run it in my token deck and probably will eventually just dont know where it'll go in just yet
you need some some answer to dangerous things that arn't creatures as they can be problematic i find that o-ring will work in most situations
Given your solid mana base 1 or 2 vault of the archangel wouldnt hurt if the games go long enough for you to acquire the mana
Very solid deck this should overwhelm most oppenets rather quickly as they run out of answers
This is my edh token deck which actually started out as ghave and my left overs but turned rather feircesome i routinely turn 6 in EDH

Oops! Didn't see the 5 Godless shrine. >.< Thanks. I will add in O-rings based on your advice.

Too fast to create swarms. Now that's a token deck.

I'm thinking about adding the Black/White Liege just to add pumps.

I'll playtest that. But Intangible Virtue gives a good pump so far. Thanks.

The whole deck is a token-generator machine. Just hope that it wouldn't swarm at me.

Cool build ! I think "Rhys, the Redeemed" would take this to a level of unimaginable OP'ness. Other than that... I want ! haha ;-)

Ow Rhys, the Redeemed's second triggered ability is so good. If only if the ability costs a little lower. But thanks for the suggestion.

Nice. I'd like to play against this deck with mine. Token vs Token. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=370891

Your deck is good. You just need good lands for it or mana fixers.

Lovelovelove token decks. I don't have any suggestions for the main deck, it's fast and solid. However, Vile Rebirth might be fun tech for the sideboard. :D

I'm impressed by how tight your decks are. Good CMC management and good cards. Makes me want to build this!

Oh yeah, Vile Rebirth could be a good grave-hate card on this deck. I'll definitely put that on SB instead of Faerie Macabre. Thanks for the input. It really helped a lot.

See, now this deck is just evil. O.o Your sideboard is frightening. XD BTW, great name change.

Check out Nether Traitor or Bloodghast instead of Sarcomancy. You have no other zombies and if that token dies it becomes a tax. Even Diregraf Ghoul could work for that spot.

I'll playtest that. But I'm pretty contented with Sarcomancy. Even if the zombie got killed at the turn it enters the battlefield, a 2/2 zombie for 1 mana is still good. Thanks btw.

Im pretty sure that bitterblossom is banned, but if you don't care about tournament legality then it's fine. I'd consider splashing red. There are plently of token generating red sorceries, but mostly because krenko is ridiculously dangerous, and becomes exponentially more dangerous every turn.

Banned in Modern but legal in Legacy. Go Legacy!

Finally a break from them damned dragons...

Green is much better than red if you ever think about going three colors. Doubling season is pretty good for tokens and planeswalkers.

If I would go Three colors, I also kinda' leaning to green, I'll rely on Beastmaster Ascension as my main pump. Red though as the spells that gives tokens.

I would take out the Sarcomancy's altogether since all that enchantment does is put a token into play and later on will hurt you if said token gets killed.

Better 1 drop token generators are as follows
-Spiritual Visit, especially when you can splice them together.
-Lab Rats, has a buyback of 4 so it gets better late game when you're topdecking.

You built this deck very oddly, but I don't play Modern or Legacy so maybe I'm just missing something in the buildup? Anyways there's my advice.

The 4 Sarcomancy is not always a burden to this deck, here are the reasons:
-I have 4 Timely reinforcements, I always need to have my life a little lower than my opponents life just to cast it.
-I have 2 Smokestack, if Sacmancy is in play and just keeps dealing damage to me, I'll just sac it.
-I have 2 Vault of archangel, I can somehow gain life.

But Thanks for the advice, I'll look into that. I'll do playtests with those cards instead of Sarcomancy.

I'd suggest something cheap to give haste such as Fervor otherwise once you get Smokestack rolling your tokens will never see a combat phase. Unless that's the plan? 0.0

I don't think you're getting the right idea here. I got Bitterblossom & Contamination which gives me a token per turn. Most of the time the soot counter is only 1-2 on Smokestack. I MAY not add any more soot counter if I wish. But that's the plan on adding smokestack, I want my opponents to sacrifice 1-2 permanents per turn, whilst I'm only sacrificing a token generated from Bitterblossom/Contamination. Besides, I have too many token spells there that would be my winning condition. I don't need haste btw. Thanks for the comment democidist~
