An update to my old Animar deck: https://www.mtgvault.com/mattcherrie/decks/animar-elves-edh-v2-2/I've simplified the manabase somewhat, so it should be easier to get the right colours when I need them.Added a few combo pieces, most notably [[Ancestral Statue]]. When Animar is at 4 counters, I can repeatedly cast and bounce the statue, making Animar infinitely large.Also added [[Staff of Domination]], which combos with any creature that taps for at least 4 mana, allowing me to draw as much as I like, gain life, have infinite mana and tap down my opponent's boards.
Play Animar. Cast Elves to build him up, reducing the cost of the big hitters. Swing in.
