this could be a very good fnm deck i would replace the sphinxs with more roil elementals and i would add better fetchlands and i would also replace the mountains with forests :P

Lol, yeah, sorry about the mountains, I tend to mix them up in dialogue as well(I just started playing magic again, this is my first deck since an affinity Mirrodin deck). So maybe throw in some Arid Mesa's as well one that other sack life fetchland, my other deck I"m building is gonna use those anyway so I'm not worried about paying for em(though it does suck). Are you sure about ommitting the sphinx? I would just as soon cut down 4 of something else and run 4x of both roil and sphinx, I just like having something out there that can't be countered delt damage from the player(directly). Is having that pair too expensive though? Seeing as how I would probably take out a cheaper card like Frontier Guide.

i prefer borderland ranger to frontier guide. i suppose that's a personal preference in the end
oh, and considering that my landfall deck was going to get to six land quickly, i included a terra stomper and may add a nulltread gargantuan for kicks. some big hitters not hindered by my awful luck with land, even with my landfall deck
