Important notes on how to maximize Tragic Slip- "Sacrifice a creature" means that a creature died this turn. So Tragic Slip 2nd ability will trigger and -13/-13 will be effective. So combo Tragic Slip whenever you can, even if you have to use a more expensive spell or mass removal tool like Mutilate.
