Deck Description

Taking a creature type to do two things at once. Vampires offer the best of both worlds, they offer a chance to take life and they are useful for adding stats to each other similar to goblins.

The thought here is to use your draw/discard creatures and enchantments to discard your vampires, to exculde at least one Blood Seeker. While discarding your Vamps, you put yourself in a position to put all your Vamps in play for {2}{B}{B} from Patriarch's Bidding. You may play all your draw card creatures with a Mass Polymorph in hand, then when the moment is right use it then next round use Patriarch Bidding and double up on your Vamps.

Deck discussion for Blood Sucking Patriarch

take out all your psychosis crawler and 3 thought courrier. Psychosis crwaler is nice, but not in this deck, even if you draw and all. I would take out archmage ascension because it take so long to lvl up.other then that...add more awesome vempires, there is so many of them and you play so litlle of them...

One on one Archmage Ascension might be to slow, however, if I draw an extra card on every other person's turn I'll be able to put a counter on it. It's possible to fill it up in two turns.

I have to ask you reasoning for excluding Psychosis Crawler considering all the potential drawing, that's one life lost per draw.

I do agree there probably should be more Vamps in this deck.

Cus if u get to discard your card, then draw a card, it dies. High cost. It will logicle be at lile 1-2-3 p/t. And u could replace it by vampires

Correct me if im wrong, but Ill have the same hand size if I draw then discard. Of course there is a chance Ill have no cards, but it will do all kinds of damage till then, but I see your point. I could lower it to 2 Crawler/Magus of the Bazaar and add 4 more vamps. The other idea with the crawler was to do the damage needed to create Bloodthirst. Thanks for the info.

Plus you draw, then discard...not the other way around, advantage me :)

Good point. I think Nighthawk would be more beneficial in this instance than Child of Night as well.

No prob, we all make simple mistakes. Funny how you can turn around a pharse and it becomes less effective. Only in magic.

Why Mass Polymorph?
As soon as I saw the text said "Exile" a red flag came up in my mind.
Is there an equivalent that lets you sink your entire field to the Graveyard? Or is this just a way to get out a bunch of Bloodlords for free?

There are several creatures which are not Vampires, they would be the ones most likely to be scraped in favor of Vampires with Mass Ploymorph and the occational Vamp as well. The idea was to swap out for more powerful creatures. So yes getting Bloodlords for free.
