Deck Description

I've been discussing how scavenge needed an upgrade after the lackluster debut with some friends. We came up with either an enchanment/artifact that gave all creatures scavenge for thier cost. Varolz is more than we bargined for and I'm happy for it. So here's to you Varolz, you deserve it.

How to Play

I could of gone Jund with this setup just as easily by including Vexing Devil and Slumbering Dragon. Both would provide instant threat status, but I found Junk to have more longevity and better sideboard options. So Junk, yeah, take your grisly salvage or you have a great hand and go from there. The best function here is sacrifice, Cartel gets protection, Varolz get regen, Disciple gives life gain, and all of them can be pitched by Lotleth just to be scavenged by Varolz. I saw potential in Alms Beast and Desecration Demon for both thier cost as well as thier scavenge worth. Both provide 6/6 power to the field, with simple drawbacks, but they have way to much firepower to keep them out. Board in Crypt Incursion against rites and graveyard hate. At least you can benefit from either situation. Mirror matches means you need to swap out for Junk Rites setup with Angel of Serenity and the newly minted Debt for the Deathless.

Deck discussion for Lost and Found

I would cut the deck down to 60 cards but you don't have to since 63 is just about close enough
