This is my 1/1 spirit deck. You may be thinking by the name "1/1" spirit deck that this means all my spirits are only 1/1s. This is not true, although most of my spirits are 1/1 tokens. the 1/1 is referring to EVERYONES creatures. I have the Godhead of Awe and Graven Dominator in this deck. The Godhead of Awe makes all other creatures 1/1s and the Graven Dominator makes all other creatures 1/1s when he comes into or when the creature he haunts leaves play. Not only does this hopefully make my opponents creatures really weak (although they can still boost them. These abilities don't effect counters, but only the creatures base P/T), but hopefully it also allows me to wipe their creatures! I have two other cards in here to make a combo with that ability. The one is Zealous Persecution. It makes all gives all my opponents creatures -1/-1 and all of my creatures +1/+1. The other one, Orzhov Pontiff, only lets me choose one (I would obviously pick -1/-1 to wipe and just have less power when I attack). Hopefully this will give me a couple turns to get lots of damage through while my opponent is still recovering. And almost all the cards in this deck have flying, so even if you can't wipe, they should be annoyed from all the attacks they can't block.

"Other creatures are 1/1." has serious problems. it only targets their base power/toughness. With an enchantment, equipment, or artifact, or other creatures saying "All slivers get +1/+1" start buffing their creatures far beyond yours. Also, +1/+1 counters aren't part of base power/toughness so it'd be base + counters. On a side note, if you get lured into attacking and they burn your Godhead of Awe to death after you declare attackers or they declare blockers, or if you attack and they buff everything they have with instants.... you're like a moth to flames. I understand how the idea is good, but you don't have enough focus on getting and keeping Godhead of Awe out. I hate to say it but I think you need to rethink what you want to do with the deck. Are you trying to make everything 1/1s or are you trying to make a token deck.

haha i know what the other creatures are 1/1 ability does :P and yes you are right, if they start boosting, i have a serious problem. i am not completely done playing around with this deck, and i was actually thinking about knocking out some of the human token producers for some more spirit token ones. I've been playing with my other spirit deck a bit and most decks aren't that great at stopping flying. so if i can get tons of spirit tokens out and boost them, then thats already a problem. The Godhead of Awe wasn't suppose to be a MAIN card for this deck with that Zealous Persecution combo, but rather just a back up if needed. If you are in lots of trouble, you can smoke your opponents creatures, and go in for the attack with a bunch of 2/2s. Hopefully, that doesnt only present a one turn problem for them either. You should be able to at least get a second or even THIRD attack in with all of your creatures while they are still recovering from their wipe. I really do appreciate your input though! and i do think you are right about the 1/1s idea or the token idea, but if possible I would like this deck to have both because as i said, i wanted the 1/1s ability to be a back up. And im fine with them burning my Godhead of Awe if it annoys them that much :P I just want it out for that one turn wipe so i can clear their board of possibly some large creatures.
