This deck is community deck for a local game store. It is an extra incentive to make people warm to play pauper.More info about this incentive can be asked at Albion Kortrijk (Belgium).THIS LIST IS NOT THE EXACT DECKLIST THAT IS AVAILABLE AS A COMMUNITY DECK!Difficulty factorsEasier aspects:Mono-color means less worry about mana fixing or color screw. The core plan is intuitive: make tokens, buff them, surprise your opponent. Many cards play at instant speed — giving flexibility in response windows.Challenges:The timing of buffs and tricks is crucial — you don’t want the opponent to respond and wipe your creatures. You need to judge when to go all-in versus when to build up more.Using convoke in early turns may tempt you to use creatures as mana prematurely; missteps can stall your momentum.Matchups: fast red aggro decks can be punishing. As a budget build, it may lack consistency and premium “blowout” spells, so smart gameplay is needed to compensate.Difficulty ratingI’d rate this deck 2 / 5 — easier to play leaning toward average. A beginner might feel it as a 3 until they get comfortable with timing and anticipating opponents. For a more experienced player, it’s pretty smooth and fun to pilot.
Most of the time you want creature type creatures to played first. After that you want to create a board that goes wide.Scatter the Seeds an Sprout Swarm both have convoke. This is a reason to not go all to agro in the early turns, but use the creatures more for mana (in there turn). After that you want to consider to go all in and use your combat tricks to finish out the game.In short an agro deck with (a god hand) turn 3 win.On average the deck wins turn 5. Most of the time your opponent isn't expecting this, with gives you an extra advantage. Online there were other Saproling decks. But for some reason only black green variations. To make it more consistent I've kept it 1 color. The nicest thing is that it plays mostly on instant speed. If you know the format, keep in mind that red decks are difficult match ups.To counter this, Echoing Courage and Magnify, with bought rather be played as a combat trick, can be used to keep the board alive.Other people consider this fun, simple and stupidly easy to play with or against.Fair warning: agro doesn't mean easy to play. Remember to time your combat trick so they can't remove your creatures in response. Have patience!
