Deck Description

I'm trying to be creative with the Kuldotha rebirth concept. Its going to be a combo of Kuldotha rebirth with Battle Cry. Lots of aggression real fast.

Deck discussion for kuldotha Cry

i would add anothe 1-2 mox opals, they are prime candidates for sacing to the rebirth if you start with 2 in hand or if you draw into another early on

oh k here are some changes i would make straight from the get-go
-1 hero of oxid ridge
-1 edgewright
-2 sacred foundry
+4 goblin bushwhacker

and maybe consider contested warzone:p

and maybe 1 of each of the 0 cost creatures out for 2 mor opals:p

good call on the bushwaker, not sure how I missed putting him in. If I take out 2 sacred foundry that will put my mana base at 18 mana so I'm a little concerned about that. 3 mox opals just seems like to much just because its a legendary.

Aight this is what I did,
-1 hero
-1signal pest
-1 accorder paladin
-1sacred foundry
+4 Goblin Bushwacker

just go ahead and nix my prior comment about my mana base, i relized that almost all of my creatures cost 2 or less, most of them cost 0 =D

well considering you have 21 1 cost creatures and 10 0 cost creatures i dont really think mana will be an issue, i recommend the added opals because you can tap them to add 1 red mana then sac them to kuldotha rebirth and then theoretically you could plop down another opal and it would be like you had never spent mana on that rebirth.

Another idea is a card called Chimeric Mass. Its X to get out but X can be 0. And it allows you to make it useful late game too. another idea that may help is Perilous Myr or Ichor wellspring. Just ideas I've seen that may work.

Thx for the idea's. i'll look at them. Perilous Myr would be good for my sacrficing with Kuldotha Rebirth, but it is a little bit expensive for my artifacts. Chimeric Mass is a good idea, it might be a sideboard depending on how this deck does late game, if there is a late game with it =D

I actually like the design here. It won't be as fast as the mono-red variants, but it seems very fast.

Only suggestion I'd make is to try out Glint Hawk. It could be fun for some shenanigans.

I really like the Glint Hawk Idea, I'll look at what I could change to put it in. 2/2 flyer for 1 is always nice.

maybe im jsut dumb, but i dont see a point in having the arid mess in the deck when there isnt a single mountain or plains. if anything i could see it being a distraction i guess. other than that i wouldnt mind givin it a try looks fun.

The Arid mesa serves several purposes, 1 I can go and get my Plateau's with them. 2 they thin out my deck.

Always liked the kuldotha aggro.

With the perfect hand (as I see it) with 2 mox opal, great furnace, 2 memnites, kuldotha rebirth and bushwhacker this deck could pump out 14 damage turn 1.

T1: Great Furnace, 2 Memnites, Mox Opal (tap + sac) -> kuldotha rebirth -> Mox Opal -> Kicked bushwacker -> Attack with 7x 2/1 haste creatures

True story, the only issue I've found with this deck is that it functions a lot like a burn deck, lots of dmg real quick but if that doesn't kill them than it burns out. I added a lot of battle cry to try to prevent that since my play group is really good at weathering the initial burst and coming back strong.

You've got a solid deck here,
I'm working on one for standard that includes New Phyrexia.

Head here and give me tips and suggestions or just to let me know what you think.

I wish there was land artifacts in Standard.

dont know if it has been pointet out... but what are you planning on finding with your arid mesa's ?

Plateau and Sacred Foundry are both able to be fetched with Arid Mesa

While Plateau and Foundry can be searched by the Mesas, I'm concerned that there could be times where you have a Mesa and nothing to search for. If you have the 4 plateaus and the Foundry out, drawing a Mesa is a dead card that can't search for anything. And, with only 17 land (Den, Furnace, Plateau, Foundry, Mesas), you could afford to add in 3-4 lands in the combination of mountain and plains.

I welcome any comments or criticism you can offer on any of the decks that I have posted here (just click on my name to see the deck list). Thanks in advance!

Your right, I'll probably drop the arid mesa's down to 2 and put in a mountain/plains or more likely 2 more sacred foundry's. I'll look at your decks and see what I think =D

Speaking of getting creative with Kuldotha Rebirth, take a look at my "Kuldotha Polymorph" deck. So creative I didn't even use it for aggro. o_O

Put dispatch in my sideboard just in case games go on longer than normal and my opponent has a tendency to get out big creatures.

I'm always a fan of a good aggro deck, and to me this one looks top notch. Nice work.
Here is my take on a red white aggro. any advice would be great!

So its the faster k-red with battlecry, looks really fun to play, may have to try it out.

I would DEFINITELY put in some contested war zones, maybe 2-3. My buddy plays kuldotha rebirth deck and when he gets contested war zone out it gets pretty crazy. Just think. A couple of battle cry creatures out already. Throw in war zone. Swing for 5 with memnite? Yes please. And devastating Summons is a nice two of to have that can be pretty killer. Especially if you manage to nut draw it with a bushwacker.
