I like it, except for Omnath. With the inherent efficiency of Stompy, he'll likely always be wimpy.

i would switch the 4 cobras to 4 llanowars
I'd say no to the protean hydra. instead look into at least 2 Rampaging Baloth(max 2) imo protean hydra is nice but not anything you would be waiting to draw into you know? rampaging baloth isn't either but it's more aggressive. Or use Vengevine! personally love those lol i'm also not a big fan of garruk's companion. i'd use Nest invader but thats just me. with garruk AND overwhelming stampede the extra trample isn't neccesary. Finally Buddysystem has a point. lotus cobra is really nice but this deck doesn't use super landfall so you'd get more use out of the Llanowar elves.
