Deck Description

Super crazy fast mana ramp deck. Big creatures with nasty landfall abilities start coming out turn 3 and by turn 4 the rape starts going down. If your opponent somehow manages to survive turn 4 then turn 5 gets even nastier with your creatures producing more powerful creatures every time you play a land (and lets face it, with 9 fetch lands and a combination of Khalni Heart Expedition, harrow, and Primeval Titan your a complete newb if you only play 1 land a turn). Your opponent will be looking out the shades of their house watching Rampaging Baloths move into the house across the street. And if one moves in....there goes the neighborhood.

Deck discussion for There Goes the Neighborhood

The deck seems to flow pretty well, but there are a couple of things you may want to keep in mind.

1st Ob, Nixilis is a great play. BUT, it is legendary meaning that although it is something you would like to play every game, it is not something you want two of in your hand.

Keep in mind that the green ramp will increase your odds dramatically in getting creatures.

2nd. Khalni heart expedition is a great card IF you can get it to go off. If you play test this deck you might realize that often enough you are left with a dead card on the field, it doesnt seem to go off as quickly or often as it should.

You might want to consider running "Growth Spasm" as it would allow you to grab a land and have a chump blocker who can also be used as a mana source.

Lastly, 3rd. Oracle of Mul Daya is an amazing card, however having two of them on the field is mostly useless, granted the ability can stack and you could get two lands out...

However, you are grabbing so much land and fetch lands make the odds of you getting a land on top slim. Slimmer on turn 3 or 4 in which you play oracle.

You might want to choose a better option or at least limit it down to 2 copies and substitute another card you might use more often. Such cards as "vines of the vastwood" would act as a pump and offers a creature shroud for a turn, it might be a better replacement for 1 Ob, 1 oracle and 1 Khalni.

The deck is good. There could just be small card adjustment, with the exception of Khalni heart expedition, it just comes to reducing the odds of drawing certain cards.

Kudos on the deck.

thanks for the idea's. I'm gonna look at reducing oracle down to 2 and see what runs well with my deck. Thus far Khalni gets poped at least twice a game, so I think that thus far its working. Thus far the deck runs beautifully but I'm gonna look into your thoughts and see if it can be better. =D

i'd seriously look into Avenger of Zendikar. At that point this deck would kinda turn into a R/G Valakut w/out red but it looks extremely powerful! i'd also reccomend Garruk. on turn 5 you can have 7 mana available w/ him plus he can turn your birds into dmg.

ps. overwhelming stampede isn't as nice as it was hyped up to be. i ran a couple of those in a deck and i found that I ended up saving them rather than using them just cuz the bonus wasn't worth the mana. but if they work here thats cool too.
