Deck Description

Standard Vampire aggro / control deck. I'm sticking to mono black to make life easier. But I do have Cavern of Souls and Dragonskull Summit in here for both Stromkirk Captain and Deviant Glee, and also to prevent counters. I really do not wish to add red to make this a dual color deck, just using the splash I have now for the cards that I already have. Comments and suggestions welcomed.

Deck discussion for Standard Vampire

Pretty solid. For mostly mono black I can't think of anything to add. I do soo much like the Blademaster though.

Haha, very nice, but I would switch Sign in blood for Bump in the night(since you have exquisite blood, it'll be a nice combination) and killing wave for tragic slip
I know they are in your sideboard but, that's what I would do...

I made 2 standards too, if you have some time, pass by and comment ;D

I see what you are saying with Sign for Bump, but having Killing Wave in there if there is even one Blood Artist on the field then it could be an epic turn of events. Thanks for the advice.

Looks pretty solid to me mate, I really like it. The only things that came to mind when looking at it were already in your sideboard (victim of the night, another exquisite blood etc...). Not sure whether you've considered it and whether there's anything to drop for it, but 'Skeletal Grimace' is actually quite good IMO. Nighthawks with a regenerate trigger are bloody nasty things with their lifelink AND deathtouch, amongst other uses for the card.

I agree completely but only thing I could see myself dropping is Heartless Summoning which can prove pretty useful at times. Thanks for the advice! :)
