You might try "Memnite" instead of "Delif's Cone"... Cone just has almost no usage unless you: 1. Have cranial plating to deal tons of damage 2. Need life really badly and 3. can't deal enough damage to kill but enough to keep you alive. Memnite can get some attacking and blocking in. Additionally you should look at "Stoic Rebuttal" (Technically you can use counterspell but the first one is more on flavor and it won't really change anything) and think about splashing red for "Galvanic Blast". It's a really useful card. There are tons of other cards for Affinity like "Arcbound Ravager" and "Mox Opal" but then this deck basically becomes the Affinity we all know and fear in the modern tier. I like your off-brand build.
