Deck Description

This is a token heavy deck that can really put a lot of pressure on an opponent fast.

With Young Pyro, Purphoros and Molten Birth - you'll be creating tons of tokens very, very fast. Adding in Akroan Cursader only adds to the pain, seeing as Launch the Fleet will bring even more Heroic triggers on. Twinflame lets you copy creatures like Crusader or Pyro for maximum token explosion.

You can easily topple things with your swarming army, but also from the pure burn of your god and torching spells.

How to Play

Focus on creating situations where you don't need to over play. Molten Birth and Young Pyromancer (with a little luck) can create a token army for you, giving you legs to stand on until you're able to start making dents in their life. Build your mana base and play according to your enemy. If you see that they're having a hard time with aggro, then pound them. If they're hard hitting and dangerous, reserve your Chains and burn for major threats, then burn them out while your tokens block everything.

Deck discussion for The Legion's Fleet [STD]

A really great deck, love the idea!

Firstly I'd think Hammer of Purphoros would work well in this deck, gives your swarming creatures haste and can provide more creature tokens if your getting mana screwed.

Rootborn Defenses has a home in this deck I think (as least SD).

I'm not a fan of 4 x Temples in an aggressive deck so I'd consider replacing at least 2 of them with Mana Confluence.

Maybe take a look at my Boros deck? http://www.mtgvault.com/lordsunfin/decks/standard-boros-human-5/
