fast play mana curve designed for early game domination. idealy round one 1drop round 2 lightning mauler. round 3 batalion. cheap removal to take care of pesky blockers and doubles as direct damage or creture suport. all the creatures play a roll the luck of the draw decides what that role will be. but it all finishes up turn 4 or 5. aurelia is there cause she looks cool lol but if she does hit play its insult to injury and utilizes double duty out of your fire fists and boros elite.

Hey I like the soulbound options you mentioned. I think I've got a silverblade paladin somewhere but I will definitely get my hands on the mauler and at least have it for my sideboard.

also the boros rally and rout event deck has a pretty good chunk of usefull stuff. retail is around 24 bones but you get a ton of usefull cards. it pretty well pays for itself.
