Deck Description

Food initially didn't appeal to me much as a mechanic, until I really looked at the cards that could make use of the food tokens. It made me envision a very grindy, durable play-style that might be able to gain enough life to make aggro useless against it, while dealing damage and building up power with the excess food it generated.

How to Play

Step 1:
Get fed. Obviously, you want to get your food production going as quickly as possible; Gilded Goose and Curious Pair work both as early blockers and sources of food, while Savvy Hunter and Giant's Skewer mean mid-game combat can easily go in your favor by producing even more food.

Step 2:
Grow strong. Once you have some food stocked up, and some lands down, you'll be able to field the creatures that will make use of the food tokens. The deck's "win cards" are Gluttonous Troll and Tempting Witch, which will hopefully be able to directly, or indirectly, beat your opponent into submission with the food stockpiles you've built up.

Extra:
Draw, in the form of Savvy Hunter, Foreboding Fruit and Trail of Crumbs will hopefully get you what you need, when you need it.
Bog Naughty and Bake into a Pie are on hand to deal with any creatures which either circumvent your win cons or directly threaten them.
Should the game go *long*, a single Forever Young might be a nasty surprise for an opponent who has removed most of your big threats.
