The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Combine Gaea's Cradle, Gemhide Slivers, and Sliver Queen to produce an exponential amount of Slivers. Play something like Sliver Legion or Door of Destinies to boost them exponentially as well.

Even if it doesn't play out perfectly, your instants will still keep you alive long enough to build up your army.

Like most Sliver decks, it falls to cards like Wrath of God, and cannot regroup afterwords. Outside of just including a few counter-spells, does anybody have any ideas on blocking a field-clearing deck?
That's the only type of deck that has been extremely effective against it, so I'm really trying to take care of that problem...

Deck discussion for Gaea's Slivers

don't people play boardsweepers where you play? You have no card draw and no recursion, how will you survive a well timed wrath of god ? An opponent who saves his spot removal for gemhide doesn't have much to fear from the deck either as you have no mana fix other then gemhide.

4xWrath of God
4xSwords to Plowshares
4xDisenchant
Bunch of creatures

that should do well against your deck and that's just mono white.

I like the idea of 8 fog effects though, nice touch. 8 fogs and Door of Destinies is actually the strongest part of the deck. If your opponent can't deal with door of destinies a single sliver will eventually kill him :). That said decks that can't deal with artifacts/enchantments are rather weak.

indeed i was thinking the same thing, a single spell could wipe you completely, such as card removal like thought hemorages, milling, grinding stone and so forth

see, that's the thing, sliver decks fall to rath, but on the most part, i run slivers that allow me to bounce them to my hand if such a case happens, or to mas sacrafice them to gain alot of life, deal damage ect, sliver decks have answers to wrath, slivers don't need to always attack to kill, i see your point, and paths, swords, wraths ect, they wipe, but there is always another way to go about your business.

This is true, Sliver decks fall to cards like Wrath of God. I'm trying to fix that.

A few counterspells can fix the issue somewhat, but does anybody have any suggestions on comabating rath?
I've played against all kinds of crazy decks including all-land decks, all-artifact decks, etc. It does really well against everything but field-clearing decks... Any suggestions?
