Deck Description

Once I found the Reaper King and saw what it did for other Scarecrows, I just had to build it into the most awesome EDH deck I could imagine. So I got every Scarecrow ever printed, put them all together with some of my favorite Enchantments and win conditions and came up with this bad boy. Painter's Servant only went legal into Commander a week ago, so I had to cut a card to make room, but I think it was well worth it.

How to Play

Get out your Planeswalkers - Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge and Ugin, the Ineffable and start casting cards for CHEAP! With affinity for artifacts, colorless costing 2 less, and Grand Arbiter Augustin IV saving you an extra mana for Blue and White spells, (and costing your opponents one more to cast) you start building up that battlefield in no time. Once you have Morophon out there, cast Reaper King for free, then, with 9 or more artifacts on the battlefield, Darksteel Forge makes them all indestructible!

Awesomeness abounds with 5 Creatures that flip into Planeswalkers. Then there are cards like Giest-Fueled Scarecrow and 5 different Leeches you can hand over to your opponents with key Sorceries like Donate and Harmless Offering, so they pay more for their spells. THAT 'LL SLOW 'EM DOWN! Plus, you've got a couple of cards that help you take extra turns, like Karn's Temporal Sundering and Gonti's Aether Heart. There's never a bad time for another turn!

Like those sneaky win-cons? You know it - how about the Exquisite Blood / Sanguine Blood infinite combo? Gain life for everyone an opponent loses. Or mill them out with Painter's Servant and Grindstone. Or, maybe go old school and get out 10 Gate lands with Maze's End, and just win.

Finally, if you get the chance, kick Rite of Replication on Reaper King and create 25 RK tokens that destroy themselves, while taking out 25 other permanents. That's always fun. Isn't that what Magic is all about? Having fun?

Make sure to play this with your very best friends. They need more fun.
