Deck Description

As for the title, a win on turn two is possible. One scenario is getting two Mountains, three Seething Songs, one Desperate Ritual, and a Dragonstorm in your starting hand.

Turn 1: Play a Mountain.
Turn 2: Play a Mountain
Play Desperate Ritual, giving yourself three red mana
Play Seething Song, giving yourself five red mana
Play another Seething Song, giving yourself seven red mana
Play the third Seething Song, giving yourself nine red mana
Then play Dragonstorm, and its Storm ability activates five times. Bring out five dragons; four of them being Bogardan Hellkite. Have all Bogardan Hellkites deal their damage to your opponent. Even if they have gained life already, they have five badass dragons to face.

How to Play

Use the spells Geosurge, Desperate Ritual, Seething Song, and Caged Sun to ramp your mana early. Pyroclasm is to help keep the field clear, to buy time. The trick is to get Dragonstorm in your hand, and cast as many spells in one turn, to activate its "Storm" ability. If you don't get Dragonstorm, don't sweat it. There is plenty of firepower.

Deck discussion for Second turn win?

Nice! I've always loved fast decks like this! One problem that I see is that if you don't get the combo here, there's a lot of high CMC creatures here that will fill up your hand quickly. You only have three creatures you can summon by turn two, and that's a problem, even with pyroclasm. I would suggest taking some of the dragons that don't pull their weight as much (shivian hellkite chiefly) and replace them with lower CMC creatures for early blockers to stall for time to get the combo or to just get high powered dragons out there. Another problem is the cost of dragon storm. It'll be difficult to play anything except for the mana ramping cards to activate its storm ability, might want to get a few low CMC cards (or more mana ramping cards) to help increase dragonstorm's dependability.

Thanks for the advice, man. I have thought about ridding of a few of the higher costing cards for smaller creatures, but to be honest, this deck works really well. All of the decks that I have uploaded are ones I have actually built. I have never seen the insane combo that I mentioned, but I am hoping for it. The way this deck generally works is by playing the mana ramping cards to either get out a huge creature early, or to get Caged Sun on the field. Once I get the ball rolling, I usually crush people. However, I am not necessarily opposed to tweaking a bit. What lower CMC cards would you recommend? I've thought of adding more Dragon Hatchlings, but I feel that wouldn't be so useful.

I agree, dragon hatchling doesn't do much for me either. I'd suggest dragonmaster outcast, to keep spawning powerful dragons each turn, dragonspeaker shaman to get dragons out easier, and kargan dragonlord, who can get to be a powerful card if you level him up enough.

I think Kargan Dragonlord would work beautifully. Perhaps I may get one or two of them, when I feel like shelling out $9 a pop for them. I also had thought about Dragonmaster Outcast, but I didn't want it to die so quickly. I think I am going to squeeze Dragonspeaker Shaman in there, soon. Thanks for the input, man.

Yeah, dragonmaster outcast and dragonspeaker are cool, but of the three kargan dragonlord was my favorite, since he could get to be a powerful dragon if he survived long enough.

Exactly. In addition, he's a great mana sink.

Ever thought of putting in sarkhan the mad?

I can't say that I have, considering there's no black in this deck. It would work pretty well if I added in the new color.

Ah, good point on the color issue... still, having all your dragons deal direct damage equal to their huge attacks to a single, mortal, opponent, ouch.

Also, if you added in black, you could put in vampric dragon, bladewing the risen, and kokusho the evening star as well as other powerful black dragons.
