in my expirence the crossroads doesn't really help all that much, in a deck where you should go off turn 2 or 3 anyway the crossroads sometimes does more harm than good in certian matchups like other tribal. if i were you i would take out the wirewood lodge and add in some verdinant catacombs for some of your forests. i would also condisder running a bayou or savannah for sideboard options, quirron ranger and a dryad arbor would also be good cards to sub in, they are good when your wither running out of manna or creatures to play, check out my legacy elves and tell me what you think http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=242196

Funny that you mentioned the crossroads, my current meta runs half maverick and the rest a whole bunch of random stuff with only one other combo elves, and they run the lightning greaves instead. i prefer the crossroads only because the turn i play it is the turn that i plan on comboing out or close too. cuz then i can use any of my priests or archdruids and emrakul swings for the win the turn it comes out. so since this is the second time i have heard it i might tweak it a bit. and this was just my current decklist, i plan on gettin a cradle which would replace the lodge. and i have the arbors but they show up as creatures primarily :) thanks for the comment
