Deck Description

This is my Elf Wave deck. It's my main deck and it does very well. My problem is I only play against a small group of people so I get very used to their styles. I love all the elves in this deck which causes a lot of problems when I'm trying to add something better.

The deck only has 18 mana but that doesn't seem to be a problem at all, since the elves can ramp up so fast. I'd really love to hear some feedback on this deck and maybe some critiques on how to improve it. I know there's still some room for improvement but I've grown to attached to the elves so I could really use some outside help.

The deck rarely makes it passed turn 5, and it's only lost for me once, but as I said I only play against the same people so it's probably tuned more to their play styles. The idea behind it is to overwhelm with high stat numbers fast and be very synergistic in its combos with each other, and also to optimize it for Genesis Wave play.

How to Play

The main destruction really comes from combos using Copperhorn Scout. Being able to double tap the elves, along with various possible combos makes for quick games.

Genesis Wave is for causing the major destruction. I usually play it for around 12 -15 X cost so all of a sudden there's an army released and all having fairly high stats.

Joraga Warcaller is one of the most effective cards. Adding the 1/1 counters to him can pump the elves up fast.

Door of Destinies, Increasing Savagery and Bow of Nylea, while good for any elf, are great for Joraga. Increasing Savagery, for instance, all played on Joraga add plus 15/15 to him which he in turn adds to all other elves.

Elvish Archdruid, especially with Copperhorn Scout, can lead to big supplies of mana early on and huge amounts later.

Golgari Decoy are very handy for letting big swings get through and if Ezuri, Renegade Leader is in play just regen him.

Greenhilt Trainee while handy, I'm not to sure he's needed, but I love his art. With a Copperhorn he can give out 2 plus 4/4 buffs or give 1 person an 8/8 buff. While decent, next to the Timberwatch it seems a little lacking at times.

Timberwatch Elf provides crazy amounts of damage especially if used with Copperhorn for the double tap.

Oracle of Nectars and Wellwisher, while I may not generally need any healing it's nice to know its there. Copperhorn and oracle can give you some large chunks of health. And if you don't need the healing they can still attack for large amounts of damage depending on cards in play.

Deck discussion for Big Elf Wave

Seeker of Skybreak is probably better than copperhorn scout.

I looked SoS over but copperhorn is sort of the center piece to my strategy, and to me appears more useful. When he attacks all elves I tapped for mana, health, bonus stats, damage whatever untap and allow me to tap them again to add even more devastation or leave blockers for the opponents phase. Copperhorns probably my favorite card in the deck=).
