Hello, I'm new to MTG and i need help designing my deck. I am going for a W/U deck, and as you can see i have way too many cards (im playing standard btw)I was thinking of a deck with some control (eg. disperse) to prevent my opponent from playing anything. if he does cast something (like a creature), i can get rid of him with a whole bunch of exile (eg. banisher priest and colossal whale) or neutralizing enchantments (eg. pacifism and claustrophobia). as for creatures, i went for a mix of heroic creatures (and i have some pump cards like dauntless onslaught), flying creatures, and some more utility type (eg. archaeomancer and banisher priest) and a few big dudes. i have some stuff to protect my creatures also, protection cards (brave the elements)and i need some help balancing spell-land ratio. thank you for your help :)
the way i play this deck is to maximally piss off the opponent by preventing him form doing what he wants and suddenly kill him by pumping my heroic creatures. so use my charging griffins (or some other small creature if i have to) to inflict pressure, then i play my heroic creatures, which i will buff to trigger heroic to make them huge and kill my opponent. then i play my huge dudes (benthic giant, colossal whale, dawnstrike paladin) to finish him off if he is still aliveif he responds with a sorcery/instant/artifact/enchantment, i counter itif he responds by playing a creature, i exile it or neutralize itif he still manages to attack my creatures, i use some protection cards
