Deck Description

Filthy control deck.
Turn 1: Land, Borderpost
Turn 2: Land, Borderpost
Turn 3: Land, Ingot, Borderpost
Turn 4: More artifacts
Wait until you feel like casting a Cascade spell. The fewer lands you control, the better. You can discard them later as part of Restore Balance's effects. When you feel like ending the game, play March of the Machines. DO NOT CASCADE AFTER CASTING IT as you will lose your artifact creatures.

In the event that you can't find March, activate the Totem and swing. You should be clear.

Deck discussion for Balance Restored

I like the Restore Balance + March combo, works well since you won't have any artifact "creatures" until after restoring the game's balance, it's nice. :)

Dude, you stole this from the building on a budget, know I wouldn't mind if you said "This is my version of cascade balance" but...

The only problem I see in this deck is that you won't have enough cards in your hand to bypass Ensnaring Bridge's active ability.

Still the combo is very good I'll give you props on that.

Nick, i never said I created this deck all by myself. But it is a deck that needs to e seen in action by more than just us faithful few that read the past columns. And by posting this deck, it could cause you to look at my other decks...

As for the Bridge, I always have a few lands in hand, thanks to the Borderpost ability. As long as I draw until I'm ready, i should be fine.

Here's what it's missing.... COMMANDEER. Nothing is more hilarious than using your excess borderposts/ardent pleas/march of the machines to protect your combo while causing further devastation to your opponent's hand. you're going to love wiping that smart-alecky look off your opponents face when they try to manaleak restore balance -- just redirect manaleak to commandeer, "IT RESOLVES AND I HAVE TO DISCARD THREE MORE CARDS AFTER I JUST CAST!?". Also a fun way to pilfer those pesky permanents that balance doesn't affect (artifacts, enchantments, PLANESWALKERS), "Gimmie dat!". I also run Ravenous Trap in the sideboard to get rid of those nasty graveyard decks. Ichorid? No thanks.
