just so you know Progenitus can be removed with World effects like Wrath of God since it does not target it. and only suggestion i can think of is cards that have the ability "Affinity" so your Elbrus, the Binding Blade will cost much less to bring into play. Also I run a deck sort of like this and if you add some small low cost flying creatures your odds of Elbrus, the Binding Blade transforming are greater especially if its equipped to a flying creature. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately other permanents in the deck having affinity would have no effect on how much Elbrus costs because affinity states that "this spell costs one less to cast for each artifact you control" so in order for Elbrus to cost less Elbrus would have to have affinity
The only thing that can give other things affinity is mycosynth golem, but it costs about 11 mana and is restricted to creatures
also Unwinding Clock is perfect for an artifact deck
I'd suggest darksteel plate making the things you'd like to keep in play more likely to stay!
