Deck Description

Went with the Dragonstorm 20 damage theme and added Sneak Attack or Through the Breach with Dragon Tyrant, and Blazing Shoal for more ways to win.

The Sideboard includes other cards that I have ruled out for now. Let me know your thoughts on it.

Deck discussion for Dragonstorm Sneak Attack

I like this decks Idea. Isn't there some kind of a spell that lets you find enchantments. ALSO, a suggestion. What would happen if you didn't happen by drawing dragons? Cause you only have 12 of them. It might be a bit slow right? Maybe ti goes against the decks strategy but, put in some walls or something to tide you over in the meantime? Hard to tell I think without actually playing the deck. Is it slow? Maybe it just seems that way.

Id consider some lotus petals. they'd make the deck faster, and give you a bigger storm count. you could also put in burning wish, and put one of the dragonstorms on your sideboard. I dont really like city of traitors, Id consider adding green and putting in tinderwalls, or maybe birds of paradise or orcish lumberjacks. If you're playing a deck with counterspells, you might have a problem so I'd consider overmaster, and maybe some anti artifact/enchantment on the sideboard.

Blazing shoal doesnt really seem helpful right now because you'd need a dragon in play, to make that combo happen, youd need a big dragon to play, sneak attack, or through the breach, and another big dragon in your hand. Id take out through the breach and one dragonstorm, for 4 burning wish. Id keep blazing shoal but add green and birds of paradise, orchish lumberjacks, an tinderwall. sneak attack is prpbably ok, but might not be necessary. You could also put in death wish.

if you do that, youd have to redo your lands, with some green production, (city of brass, taiga etc). orchish lumberjacks might not work, but id defintiely keep tinderwall and birds.

I was actually playing this deck minus a few changes in limited before it rolled over to the new format. It was able to produce 1st or 2nd turn wins with Crystal Vein, Chrome Mox, Seething Song, Through the Breach, Dragon Tyrant , Blazing Shoal and any other 4 cost or higher red card. I added the Dragonstorms because of the ability to drop 4 dragons that do 5 damage each when they come out or get discarded due to Legendary. I had more dragons in the deck and Dragon Mage to reduce stalling.

Ok, this deck doesn't look bad, the shoals STAY, do you know how crazy a 16/6 doublestrike is??????? seriously, all on turn 3, or if you're really lucky turn 2, ritual, song, sneak, sneak out the tyrant, remove another tyrant for shoal, 16/6 double, that my friend, is game, they stay. NO EXTRA COLORS, bad, the deck is 2 color already don't make it worse. Your other is better but this is good.

Matto800, the next time you ever say that sneak attack isn't necessary, LOOK AT THE COST OF THE CREATURES, and realize that the deck is SLOW with out it, IT STAYS TOO. It is the entire point of the deck, don't you see?
MLoki: Green is a bad idea, mana accel won't help you here, sneak attack is your best bet. You've made a decent deck, just beware, sneak attacking a creature doesn't count for storm.

Its alrite but cut the Blazing shoal and run some good burn cards so that you can deal damage if you have tham down to 2 or 3 life and kill them or kill your opponents creatures. it acts as a form of control and last minute kill
Also Take a look at my 1.5 Dragon Stompy deck you seem to like dragons so give me your opinion it is sort of remake but i think that it works beter at locking up the board

smc1215 makes a solide point about the shoals so i would say go with what your gut says, But i still think burn is a good control alternative not much but enough that you can get in a pinch

Everything except the mana excellerants make the Dragon Tyrant deal 20 damage with a Blazing Shoal. That card gives the deck another option to win besides dropping the 4 dragons that can do 5 damage each with Dragonstorm. The mana accelerants should be enough to build up storm 3 making that end game. I could drop some of those for Lotus Petals or Chrome Mox but that would be the only other change I would look to.
