my favorite card in a defensive deck has always been worship. Try that and a few creatures who have protection from creatures or colors, a few mother of runes works great too.

try some quietus spikes... they hurt like hell :)
Does the lack of creatures ever leave you open? It seems like you would be vulnerable if you dont draw the right cards.
I like the livewire lash, but I dont like the rats cause that poisons you too. Id take them out and add some contagion clasps or contagion engines. you could also take out doom blade and some other spells and trade them for spells with proliferate (which lets you put an extra counter of any type that any number of target creatures and players have, in this case a poison or -1/-1 counter). Steady progress and inexorable tide are some great spells for an infect deck. =)

Awesome, powerful creatures, but theyre expensive, though thats to be expected in a dragon deck. Mabe add some thran dynamos or some lands that produce multiple colors (crumbling necropolis would be great for this deck), and take out a couple of the cards that you only have 1 of. Chances are that in a 64 card deck, you wont even see them.
Ornithopter or memnite... gotta love those 0 casting costs =)
instead of diabolic tutor, why not use demonic tutor that lets you do the exact same thing for a fraction of the cost. thats like using cancel instead of counterspell. has demonic tutor been banned?
