I wanted to make a fairly cheap and fun deck consisting of only samurai creatures. With several buff cards, regeneration cards, and cards that allow me to attack constantly and with impunity, The only solid strategy against this deck would be attacking life points directly. I've also employed a number of instants, to hopefully create a defensively-powerful deck that can build quickly into a powerful and constant attacking force.

I think that you idea is most than a Samurai deck, is a Kamigawa one. Imo, is not bad idea to run a Samurai deck, but i would add artifacts, enchantments and spells of another blocks, Modern if you like to play in that format, trust me, it would improve your deck a lot.
