Deck discussion for (33$) Repopulate Humans

Absolutely love this deck. It has a very old school feeling about it, I haven't seen something like this in a long time. Add launch the fleet and you have a very good deck for a game with a lot of people. If left unchecked, you could make this a serious threat to all players by turn 10.
In my opinion I wouldn't change anything.

I have 1 suggestion. Elspeth Sun's Champion or Elspeth Tirel instead of Increasing Devotion. If you want a cheaper alternative, let me know.

I love this deck! Good work. So much lifegain ... have you considered Angelic Accord?

Or Ajani's Pridemate
you can add parallel lives, if that doesn't break the budget
Nice job on this deck!

Wow "Angelic Accord" is a nice card to have. I try to avoid the more expensive cards. (Thus a 30 dollar deck) I did manage to pull a elspeth suns champion. However the tirel card looks more suitable for this deck. Also the Increasing devotion has its beneficial flash back 10 creature as well. I will try to implement the angelic accord or the one that taps all my creatures and puts angels for how many ever i taped. "Devout Invocation" definaly the tirel once i have money. if i have money. lol.

Hold on, I will find you a cheap and good human token card (Increasing Devotion is pretty good, but I know a few tricks).

Gather the townsfolk

Gather the townsfolk is a good card but what would it replace? I already have a lot of low cost cards. It would have to replace life gain... or draw power... or offense.

I can't find that convoke card:

what convoke card

Replace Warriors lesson with gather the townsfolk, it is too predictable and the opponent would certainly block the creatures you targeted, even though it is a great card in some decks, like a trample deck

warriors lesson is an instant. And the idea is to have more than just two creatures attacking. what ever ones he decides not to block is when i would play the spell. Not be4 hand. Usually ppl let you hit them for 1 or 2 damage.

How bout ... 16 cents for Evangel of Heliod!

Yeah, the only problem in this deck for entreaties the angels is there is card draw, so less chances of miracle ( it's not that good without miracle, but I LOVE the miracle effect!)

" Evangel of Heliod" wouldnt work with the tokens. and I have some green mixed in.

Hes ok. His cost is rather high for 4 mana. and im not really trying to discard my cards. Just draw alot to lay alot.

If anything the human that generates 1/1 humans for free every turn for 3 mana and more of the court streets would replace the goldmeadow. It does essitanly the same thing but doesnt cost mana or discarding cards. every turn

I will sideboard "Hero of Bladehold". I ve played a few ppl before with one of my older decks. And one of the best feelings to have is. When your opponent says... "I don't know which one to kill..." A hero of the blade hold would be a easy target. lol.

0

That's the one! And Hero of Bladehold is so good, it might be a cheaper alternative to Elspeth Tirel. I use her (Hero of Bladehold) in my knight deck.

I like the idea but Rites of Flourishing helps your opponent waaaaaaaay too much, replace it with Launch the Fleet or Goldnight Commander

0
Posted 28 April 2014 at 19:03

I will consider that. But Are there any more better draw cards? I was only going to take out the rites of flourishing as a sideboard if they had to many wipe the board spells. Other wise the deck kinda speeds up really really fast.
