Deck Description

The idea behind this deck is to turn a bunch of little creatures into a force to be reckoned with.

How to Play

The creatures in this deck are most effective when they have several counters on them. This means you will be playing defensively until you can get out either Cathars' Crusade or Sigil Captain. Both of those cause your weenies to become huge very quickly.

I'm splashing red mostly for Elemental Mastery. It become absolutely ridiculous with either Cathars' Crusade or Sigil Captain on the table, especially the former. If you can, enchant either a Twilight Drover or Champion of Lambholt with it, since they scale with each use, which then scales up the Elemental Mastery, etc. If you're in a tight spot, the Sigil Captain himself isn't a bad choice since he pumps up each elemental he creates and can spit out 3 elementals at a time. You can get your one mountain out with a Rampant Growth, or use a Druid of the Anima for red.

Win conditions for this deck include running over your opponent with an army of pumped up elemental tokens (either with Cathars' Crusade, Sigil Captain, or Wild Beastmaster), or increasing Champion of Lambholt's or Skarrgan Pit-Skulk's power such that your creatures become unblockable.

Twilight Drover holds a special place here. He becomes a terror with either Cathars' Crusade or Sigil Captain out, and putting Elemental Mastery on him is just evil. You may want to hold off casting him until you have one of the above mentioned cards ready, since he's otherwise not terribly useful. If you do get him out with a few counters, use his ability to put out more tokens. Those tokens will be pretty scary if you have any of the cards I mentioned before and will actually make him bigger if/when they die.

Don't underestimate your other weenies! Even a Soul Warden with Sigil Captain out is rather annoying - she becomes 3/3 and gains you massive amounts of life each turn. Even your Druids of the Anima can become reasonable blockers in a pinch this way, especially once you don't need them anymore.
