The goal of this deck is to play some creatures very defensively and some more offensively. I like to think of it as some platoons taking a defensive position in a battle while another attacks.
Perimeter captain, Stalwart shield-bearers, and Basilica guards should come out as quickly as possible. These are your defenders, beef them up with slagwurm armor when you can. Use Basilica guard's extort as often as possible. Your attackers are Crusader and Precinct captain. Enchant them with Armored ascension when you can, especially Precinct captain, in order to get out more tokens to have more blockers and make Crusader more powerful. Use Intrepid Hero to kill anything too powerful that an enemy sends out.

I feel like some of your cards are wasted by having defender and being pumped up by each other. they are strong but cant attack and a different card could be just as strong and have offensive capabilities :D
