well, you have death's shadow, but you are missing the one card that makes it any good: dead reckoning. put a creature from your graveyard to the top of your library, dead reckoning deals damage to target creature equal to the returned creature's power.

I think I'll just get rid of it. My goal is to have 30+ life anyway so, but it would be a good last ditch effort in case I get waylaid.

It can still be a good card, Dead reckoning just makes it a great card.
Yeah, if I wasn't running massive life gain, that coupled with Tree of Redemption or something. I don't know.
