This deck has evolved greatly over the past ten years. My intent now is to focus on the Wojek Embermage and Repercussion combo, using the damage spells to round it out, and the creatures to bring the heat. It doesn't often go off, and I think the failing point is in the creatures, and that the mana curve is focused over the higher costing cards.It's actually decomposed right now. When I put it back together, though, I will hold out the Pyrohemia, probably the Kavu, and some of the nonbasic land. I will add more Meteors, and some red mana acceleration--the main failing point of the deck.
I want to get the Embermages out as soon as possible. They will take care of any mono- or dual-color weenie decks. The deck can win with creatures alone, but the Repercussions seal the deal, and especially when that Shivan Meteor comes down--I need more of those. It's nice to play them for cheap, also, but you need the Repercussion out first. When those are out, it's good to plan ahead with the Overblaze for maximum damage.
