A red defender deck? A red deck that wants to drag out the game?? And it's an EDH deck?! Well, yes, yes and yes. The choice of commander makes it all make sense. The idea is that my opponents will whack each other senseless while I build up a nice little fort, and slowly poke them to death. If they attack me, my defenses will most likely be too strong to get through, and as such, they will (hopefully) not try to attack me. As with most my other decks, this deck has been built with a focus on making it affordable to actually acquire.

Nice, for extra damage I would suggest a Moon Veil dragon from Dark Ascension. Tap 1 red, each creature you control gains +1/+0 until the end of the turn.

Yeah, well. My damage output doesn't require creature power (: I only need a little bit for my defenses to hold up, and the rest comes from abilities. Thanks for the suggestion anyhow.
Btw you cant use wall of tanglecord because it has a green mana symbol in its text
I like this deck a lot. I really think Squee Goblin Nabob would be a great fit for it. Not necessarily because he is a great card, but because he was always really good at hiding behind walls.
