Apostle's blessing instead of virulent wound. you don't want to kill the opposing creatures, since they can't block anyway. the blessing can save your pumped up creatures or make them unblockable as well if the distortion strike is not handy. And it targets your creatures, so it works well with the livewire lash. Inkmoth nexus is the saviour when your creatures get destroyed. I played the same deck today, only in green instead of black, in standard (MTGO) and went once 3-1 and once 1-3... I did not have any inkmoths, though. ยด I would add gitaxian probe as well to make the deck thinner, since you can pay it always with life.
