This is a casual deck that I built at the request of my 7 year old son. It is the first deck that he helped me build.Spiders are fairly limited and they don't come with a wide variety of powers or abilities. I initially added the Nyx Weaver strictly as a way to tutor out the big Arachnus Spinner but at some point decided adding cards to the graveyard had some potential as a fun mechanic.There's not much removal. The arachnus web is very cheap and can be tutored for free. Drown in filth has yet to prove itself in this deck. Graveyard:Nyx Weaver, Graverobber Spider, Mulch, Grisly Salvage, Drown in Filth, Spider Spawning and Wreath of Geists all take advantage of the cards in the graveyard. We're pretty happy with the cards currently in the deck although we're always open to suggestions. I'm considering changing the numbers of the different spells that support the creatures. edit: We're finding that between all of the buffing spells that the spiders sometimes end up larger than they really need to be. I think we need to add some evasion, trample or removal and also remove some of the buffing spells. Drown in Filth is rarely able to kill anything because not many lands get into the graveyard but it is effective in filling the graveyard up.
