Deck Description

If restricted to MODERN format, the Main Deck as it appears is fine.
If allowed to play VINTAGE (or LEGACY for the matter), then these are alterations I would highly recommend:
Replace 3x Unholy Strength for 3x Howl from Beyond
4x Ravenous Rats for 3x Ostracize
2x Warpath Ghoul for 2x Kjeldoran Dead
2 of the Sign in Blood + either a Dead Weight or Eternal Thirst for 1x Unnerve and 2x Syphon Mind (but only if playing multi-player, these are not necessary changes in head to head play).
Add three (or four if you can spare them) Dark Ritual cards...no need to take any cards out, but if you refuse to play with more than 60 cards, pick three to leave out.
Replace 4 Swamps with x4 Barren Moor...OR, keep the Swamps, add the Moors and remove all the Eternal Thirst cards...the changes above remove six creatures and replace them with only two...so there will be fewer opportunities to enchant creatures...just a thought.

If playing head to head vs black deck, replace all Tormented Soul cards with Plague Beetles, since they can be used to block and are just as effective at attacking a player with Swamps.

How to Play

It's just a simple Aggro Black deck...utilizing enough creature removal and discard effects to "hopefully" remove threats as quickly as they appear (or keep them from appearing), then utilizing auras or instants to beef your cheap attackers to tick-tick-tick away at their lifeforce. Deathgreeters & Blood Seekers offer a nice one-two punch punishing players for casting creatures and then again when they die.

Corrupt is in there as a good end-game hitter...head to head, this one can be very effective.

Sign in Blood is a fantastic way to aide this deck...use it early to force other players to draw and take life (then make them discard with spell or creature effects)...or later in the game, use the card on yourself when you have an empty hand, to refill it for a small cost.

Eternal Thirst (aura) and Child of Night (creature on sideboard) with lifelink can be VERY helpful in keeping your life up, especially in multi-player, but in a head to head game, you want to end the game fast, a long game scenario isn't needed, which is why I benched the Children.

I have Bog Imps around as a nice flying threat or as flying defense...I hate to make a deck with NO ability to offset flying threats, there are probably other choices that would work, but this is what I picked. I'm sure there are some common cards with reach that could do the job, I just didn't bother searching.

The Drudges are there if more defense is needed, they are good blockers...but if you are playing Vintage/Legacy, then the Kjeldoran work fine, too.

I have not play tested the deck yet, I have a lot of extra cards listed, I'm not sure I'll need them or not...if the discard strategy works, then a couple of Mind Rots will work great in any format...Walking Corpse, Gravedigger and Vile Rebirth work well with a zombie-horde strategy (long game), but in my mind, those cards aren't efficient enough in a fast-aggro strategy, so there on the side for now.
