ideally you play a pulse tracker/lacerator t1. blood artist t2. From there just do whatever you can to push damage through. Viscera seer sacing creatures after they have declared blocks + blood artist is great.

I run a red and black vampire deck and its one of my favorite decks. Check out blade of the blood chief Its a very effective sword for vamps and isn't that expensive compared to other swords out there.
