Deck Description

I really liked Maralen of the Mornsongs ability, especially since it works well with the Archive traps. Although Maralen does allow a person not to die from her ability to stop them drawing cards, using Innocent Blood, or even searching your deck for another Maralen and player her, which in turn, activates the "legend rule" and just saying go, when there's nothing in their graveyard, works out too. I'm still fiddling with it.

How to Play

You could get Maralen out on the first turn. Doing so, you'll be able to either play your Archive Trap(s) immediately , or you can allow them to build up in your hand. It really all depends on how you want to handle milling. Maralen has both ups and downs so be careful

Deck discussion for Maralen's Mill

If you use Maralen properly her downside in that you take the damage as well is completely negligible. She is one of my favorite cards of all time and my Ultimate trump in multiple decks in which if I get her I win because of what she lets em grab.

Yeah, I agree. That 3 damage is dealt to the opposing player first anyways, so I see no harm really.
