This deck is about gaining lifereally odd when you think about it, but to have the damage done to you by a hellkite being not only negated but also gain 2 more from it with 2 mana is inticing. Lifegain is one of those mechanics not often tread into but hey, why not use it when you have it?With faithmender and trostani you have a rediculous threshold for gaining life and then subsequently sucking all theirs away.
