Basic Idea: The idea for this deck was SuperMegaPanda's Deck challenge (https://www.mtgvault.com/forum/thread.aspx?ftid=10172) from April 2018. A little bit late, but better late then never. Building it:I decided to go for a mono green modern variant of the Hydra tribal. The first things that where added was the ramp: Arbor Elf in combination with Utopia Sprawl/ Utopia Sprawl and Explosive Vegetation/ Ranger's Path. After that I wanted some "low"-mana Hdyras and found Managorger Hydra and Primordial Hydra. Hydra Broodmaster and Oran-Rief Hydra was last thrown in a finishers. Tests:At the moment this deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to further improve this deck.
Ramp for your life because it depends on it. Arbor Elf in combination with Utopia Sprawl can produce 4 mana on turn 2, Explosive Vegetation and Ranger's Path are slower but less attackable. Cast Managorger Hydra early on t benefit from it's ability to gro with every spell played. Primordial Hydra can also be played early on if you don't have anything else but is better hold back.Ranger's Guile is here to protect your precious hydras while Primal Rage ensures that at least some damage makes it trough your opponents defence.
