Even if it doesn't look like it, this is a R/G deck. A deck name (I cant remember nor find it any more) gave birth to this deck's idea. I think it was the picture of "Kiln Fiend" and it used 4 colors. Personally I'm no big fan of 3, 4 or 5 colored decks (save commander) because of the complicated manabase, but what if you don't have to have the right mana to pay those spells? Right, where talking about phyrexian mana. Costing you 2 life to play a spell doesn't sound so good but in combination with "Kiln Fiend" you loose 2 life and get a massive +3/+0 boost for it not including the spell you've played!The estimated costs before adding duallands are around 42$.This deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.
The key card of this deck is "Kiln Fiend", "Blistercoil Weird" serves as a backup. I decided against "Wee Dragonauts" or "Nivix Cyclop" as backup because that meant I would have to add blue mana. With only 13 creatures it might take a mulligan or two to get the right amount of creatures and mana into your hand. The strategy of this deck is pretty straight forward: Play "Kiln Fiend", use phyrexian mana-spells to buff him and defeat your opponent with a single attack. The basic strategy might sound easy but you have to get a feel for the right moment to attack. If your opponent has enough free mana and is just waiting for you, give it a turn or two. Worst thing for him to happen is that you draw "Wild Defiance" because then things will get to start real ugly. Expample for a god-hand:1 Kiln Fiend, 1 Forest, 1 Mountain, 1 Unnatural Predation, 1 Assault Strobe, 2 Gut Shot or Mutagenic Growth or Gitaxian ProbeT1: MountainT2: Forest -> Play Kiln FiendT3: Play Unnatural Predation + Assault Strobe + 2 cc1 phyrexian mana spells and swing with a 14/3 trample, doublestrike (not including any buffs from phyrexian mana spells)
